Jason Wong
I have been in IT for more than 20 years and have worked across different industries in Australia, Hong Kong and the Silicon Valley, for both start-up environments and well-established enterprises. My background is in software development, mainly .NET, more recently the JS tech stack but have also worked on Java & even (argh!) PHP. Throughout my career, I've held roles as a programmer, architect, manager and Head of IT. I've led not only software teams but also systems infrastructure & network teams, so I'm familiar with the full spectrum of the IT world.
I first encountered nahc.io as a client looking for help in recruitment. I had a very good experience working with the nahc.io team as compared to other recruitment agencies. Eventually, I found out that the reason why the client experience was good was because of the great company culture.
I initially joined nahc.io as a Tech Advisor and offered my services as a CIO-for-hire. But my involvement in the recruiting process at nahc.io grew overtime as the team recognized my ability to understand the requirements of technical roles deeper and to source & shortlist candidates for clients.
I'm motivated to help people land better jobs, not just financially, but cultural fit wise, or projects that keep them motivated and fulfilled, or just working conditions that suit their life styles. My goal is to raise awareness about the value that hiring the right IT talent can bring to a team and its importance to enable companies to succeed.
